Flexible scalable teams
At the core of our success is our vertically integrated design and procurement model. Weston Homes sets itself apart from other developers by directly employing specialists in every field to ensure absolute focus on quality control, cost control, and driving the best value.
Effective Governance Reporting
Every project we deliver is underpinned by a rigorous nine-step governance framework, ensuring quality, cost and programme are controlled from the first conversation to final handover.
01 Round Robin Meeting
Typically held after Heads of Terms agreed but before exchange of contracts. All specialists align on planning, design and construction strategy raising risks and opportunities from the outset.
02 Pre-Development Meeting
Post-exchange, pre-planning submission. Budget and programme reviewed, signed off by Chairman and CEO and used as a reference point for all further meetings and reporting.
03 Preliminary Meeting
Once technical design is complete, all departments and clients review and comment before construction commences.
04 Construction Documents
Construction Documents incorporate agreed comments and are controlled through a strict addendum process.
05 Tendering & Orders
The commercial team tenders packages, agrees final costs and establishes the Pre-Commencement Budget for ongoing Board review.
06 Construction
Our Construction Directors oversee delivery against programme, budget and quality standards. Any changes are managed through a controlled addendum review and approval process.
07 Quality Control & Handover
Our on-site QC team oversees construction progress and oversees handover, ensuring homes are fully completed before release to our client or residents.
08 Practical Completion
It marks the formal transfer of the development to our client or residents, with all outstanding items documented, agreed and closed out. Our Customer Service team takes over, guiding residents or our client through their new properties.
09 Post Delivery Review
Once occupied, we conduct a thorough Post Delivery Review covering programme, cost, quality, social value and lessons learned. Resident feedback is gathered and reviewed alongside internal findings, with outcomes shared across the business to drive continuous improvement.
